Background

The Project on Intergenerational Equity (PIE) is one of top-priority research projects sponsored by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan. The project was launched in October 2000 at Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University, and has proceeded to Stage 2 since July 2006.

Stage 1

Theme (Setting Options for Fair Distribution of Well-being among Different Generations)
● Period: Oct. 2000 to March 2005

Stage 2

Theme: (Economic Analysis of Intergenerational Issues)
●Period: July 2006 to March 2011
