Previous research

I have been working on the analysis of the strategic behaviors of platforms and their applications to competition policy. In particular, I have worked on (1) the design of monetization schemes by content providers who can earn advertising and subscription revenues, (2) cartels among sellers in retail platform, and (3) analysis of horizontal mergers in the presence of network externalities and two-sidedness.

Current research projects

I am working on three projects, including (1) oligopolistic and oligopsonistic competition in product and labor markets; (2) empirical analysis of mobile app markets and its application to merger analysis; and (3) theoretical and empirical analysis of nonlinear pricing in telecommunication markets.
